The cell for the redressal of public grievances was set up in 1993. This cell constantly monitors public grievances received from different sources and ensures timely disposal of public complaints. Every week Wednesday forenoon is observed as ‘Meetingless Day’ in the Board’s head office and Regional offices when the public can directly approach senior officers regarding grievances, if any. Monthly and quarterly reports on the public grievances are sent to the Ministry of HRD and to the Department of Public Grievances, Cabinet Secretariat by the Board. Complaints received during the period under report were settled in favour of the complainant within a reasonable time frame.


Opening of portal for Redressal of online Public Grievances

The disposal of public grievances needs to be given the attention it deserves. The Directorate of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance (DARPG) has opened a portal for redressal of online public grievances, where public can directly file their grievances online and the replies of their grievance are also to be given online. The replies of board can be accessed through CPGRAMS by public. Every care is being taken to handle the grievance in the most efficient, effective and realistic manner.
